'Rudolf Hess: A Most Curious Life and Death'
2016 saw the 75th anniversary of the flight to Scotland by Hitler's Deputy, Rudolf Hess. This talk looked at the extraordinary life and death of a man who was a prisoner of war and convicted war criminal for 46 years.
This talk brought together the historical facts and the personal anecdotes of the speaker, who helped to guard Spandau Prison in the 1970s and went on to serve briefly as an interpreter there in the early 1980s.
