'Rudolf Hess: A Most Curious Life and Death'
This talk marked the 75th anniversary of Hess' flight to Scotland on 10th May 1941 and provided a personal view, based on the historical facts and the speaker's anecdotes concerning Hitler's Deputy's career, his time as a prisoner of war in Britain and 40-year long incarceration in Spandau Prison in West Berlin.
The event was hosted by and in support of The Soldiers' Charity and was held in the Exeter University Officer Training Corps' Officers' Mess in Wyvern Barracks EX2 6AR.
