‘Across Europe by River’

Having flown into Bucharest the trip on the MV Royal Crown took in the Danube delta and Constanta in Romania, Veliko Trnovo, Arbanassi and Vidin in Bulgaria, the Iron Gates locks, Belgrade in Serbia, Mohacz, Villany, Pecs and Budapest in Hungary, Bratislava in Slovakia and Vienna.

I gave talks on ‘The Rise and Fall of Yugoslavia’, ‘Bosnia- A Tragedy Recalled’, ‘Rudolf Hess’ and ‘My Life as a Military Spy’.
